PIXmania is Europe's leading web shop in consumer electronics and has been acquired by Dixons (DSGi) in 2006.
During the glory days of PIXmania I was responsible for traffic acquisition on the Dutch and Belgian websites: price comparison sites, affiliation, online advertising, SEM, SEO, partnerships.. I was the main contact at PIXmania for all questions about those countries. Turnover more than doubled in my geographic zone.
I organized our presence at a Belgian trade show and represented PIXmania at several other trade shows. I got us nominated for a Thuiswinkel Award in the Netherlands, and volunteered to improve the quality of customer service which to me is of crucial importance. I also suggested the marketing service to cross-sell product insurances in the cart (opt-in of course). This has been implemented and has improved global profits.
